Lew Dite with his tea chest bass
The tea chest bass is an important instrument in skiffle music
Sporting Life is a Brownie McGee song that the Chas McDevitt Skiffle Group taught me to love
I wanted to post one last song for 2008.
What could it be?
Then I thought of Bob Dylan's "Times They Are A-Changing..."
Given the all that has happened this past year and given the world wide hope for change... well, this song seemed perfect.
I have added a few cryptic messages of my own.
I am still working on music for the ukulele and this is a great song for this instrument. However, in my opinion the song sounds good on any instrument... so to prove my point here is "Amazing Grace in Four Parts."
"Graveyard" Johnny Fast does this Hank Williams classic like nobody else (that I know of)...
