All ages fun on Saturday night at the San Jose Skate roller skating rink. Trouble in Paradise, Super Pineapples, Minus Vince, Uptones, Monkey provided the music. I had a great time at the place. There are some San Jose kids who can cut the ska rug. Love it.
An ode to my van. Music is 1. Rudeboy Is Back In Town by Laurel Aitken With Court Jester's Crew on Jamboree 2. Rudie Can't Fail by The Cocktail Preachers on Charlie Does Surf (a surf tribute to The Clash)
Paul and Donna came to visit. We had lots of fun and drank a bunch. Paul fell asleep at the table. I got out my camera and we made fun of him. We love him very much and feel pretty bad about it.

I am doing the old school thing. I think I can get the bert-revert wired on the coping if I keep at it. The video starts off with slow mo clip of me making one and then full speed of various attempts. Special bonus is a fakie-360!
Mike Powell shows up briefly.

King Sugar opened and were good. Their last 4 songs were great. Then Monkey (minus root) came on and ripped it up. Fun times.
Hobo Erotic became The Suppressors. They are from Fresno and play inspired ska. Check 'em out! This clip is from 5/30/2008 at Ireland's 32 in San Francisco.
There are a couple seconds shot from the street on their first song and then a couple of minutes of their last song of the night.

Flogging Molly played a free show from 7-8:30 Thursday evening as part of the Music in the Park series in downtown San Jose. They were good, but the middle of their set wasn't super.
The pit was really tough (or I'm a wimp), but I sustained no injuries. The pit was the only place people were moving.
