Designed to compete against the Benchmade and Spyderco imported lines, this knife misses the mark. Cheesy grind lines, slick Zytel scales, coarse machining, a flimsy clip, heavy weight, and a sloppy lockup make the current MLEK Lite a knife that's best avoided. Benchmade and Spyderco sure get it right at this price point why can't Blade-Tech? It reminds me of a swap meet knife.

Good blade shape, great jimping, good ergonomics, good steel, and lightweight are the high points. The lows would be a grindingly slow deployment and not so tight lockup, the first maybe being fixable with some polishing. But still I wouldn't write off the Mouse yet if you can get by with a sub 2" blade.; it's only $25, offers a very stout and controllable blade, full flat grind, and colors.

Just testing out the letterbox and how much quality Youtube keeps when compressed with altered settings, and Arialak is just so good with the hidden blade I couldn't help but add this.
