Forget about the Flintstones puffing on coffin nails! You want to see something sleazy, try watching Mr. Magoo cracking open a few frosties in front of impressionable young minds. No wonder he was always so bleary eyed! The bastard was crocked!
Tony Bennett played Stephen Boyd's trusty sidekick in the sleaze classic "The Oscar", and his climactic meltdown scene presented here might be one of the most over the top ever filmed.
One of the best tracks from the "Nuggets 2" compilation was Los Bravos' "Going Nowhere". Here it is from their teen rock musical, "Los Chicos Con Las Chicas". Enjoy!
"Song of the South" may never see the light of day on DVD, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this commercial for the 1955 Nash starring Brer Rabbit. Take that, Cos!
(1959) Something for the kids (monsters) and something for Dad (Lorena Velasquez), this is a great Mexploitation cult film that deserves a wider audience.
I'll make you happy just like your mama did..yeah, baby! Slobby spazz schoolgirl Christina Amphlett throws down like Angus Young's scary sister. Thumbs up!
No, it's not some hefty goth chick parading around ComicCon, its luscious mexploitation star Maura Monti playing the fabled Batwoman character. Not a great transfer, I know, but until Blue Underground releases the proper DVD this will have to do.
In between "Diva" and "Betty Blue" director Jean-Jacques Beneix made the loopiest adaptation of a David Goodis novel yet, "The Moon In The Gutter", quite a remarkable claim considering "Dark Passage" and "The Burglar" were awfully strange adaptations in their own right. The film starred Gerard Depardieu, Nastassia Kinski, Victoria Abril, among others.
(1998) Live at the Garage (Silver Lake, CA): Cockfight is shown performing the definitive version of Andy Seven's song "One Eyed Car". Drag queen Vaginal Creme Davis hosted the great show.
The Queen's most lovable and manic puppet boy Torchy assists Flopsy in teaching Bossy Boots a ripping good lesson in manners on Topsy-Turvy Land. He sings "Naughty Children". Enjoy!
